As many of you know, we are moving our Abingdon store in 2016 to 108 East Main Street. This puts us almost in the exact center of the Abingdon Historic District. We will be just below the Martha and the Barter Theatre. Those of you that follow us on Facebook have seen some of the pictures of the house. This posting started on our website and is uploaded to our Facebook page. So, if your are a follower on Facebook, you already know of our move. But, if you only see our website, this is a preview picture of our new location. This picture shows the showroom and part of my office from the front door. This location will still have a full service shop, a showroom, an office to discuss your custom work and appraisals, as well as a deck on the back to work with customers on custom work outside when the weather is too nice to be inside.
This location moves us within sight of the Barter Theatre as well as within walking distance of the 128 Pecan, The Tavern, Political Dogs, The Martha, The Soda Shop, The Peppermill, and many other businesses on Main Street in Abingdon. You can park, visit us, eat, and still shop at the many stores that are within three blocks of us. The Virginia Creeper Trail is just around the corner of us. We are adjoining Rick and Susan Humprhies bed and Breakfast. Our back yards touch each other. Directly next door is Mallory’s Fine Art Gallery.
This location will give us a great location in a beautiful part of the Town of Abingdon. We will continue to offer all of our services including watch batteries, ring sizing, and other repairs as well as custom work. The showroom will be set up nicer and more efficient with the same products that you expect to see in our store. More pictures and updates to follow. Please like us on Facebook and you will see the progress as we work on this historic building.
